Yes, this is a vast oversimplification of a complex political and economic issue. However, when Republicans say liberals and environmentalists are to blame for the dramatic jump in energy prices, we need to remind them - and very loudly - who has really brought the current situation to a head.Nancy Pelosi (looking alarmingly like a drunken Sherry O'Terry, but I love her anyway...) nailed it yesterday.
